I've spent the past couple years contemplating what I want from my life. I think that when we are faced with our mortality we are forced to think about what is important.
"A Beautiful Mess Collection"
This series is about change and healing. At the end of 2016 I was diagnosed with late stage breast cancer and went through a year of radical surgeries and treatment. It was absolutely brutal for myself and my family. It all sounds terrible but it has changed many parts of me for the better. Life is so fragile and this experience has taught me that. Things can happen in a flash. So, everyday I make a conscious effort to appreciate the precious moments like a funny giggle from my kids or a little bird that lands at my feeder. Life offers us lots of good moments, we just need to look for them sometimes.
