This summer my family took a vacation in New England. We camped in Acadia National Park, one of our favorite places, and did some amazing hikes. Some of the hiking trails are closed in efforts to protect their nesting peregrines. We were able to get a glimpse of some wonky fledglings testing out their new flying skills. They still look incredible and its crazy to think that they will eventually hit speeds of 200mph and more! These once endangered birds are now coming back thanks to the Endangered Species Act.
