Stronger Than You Think - Print
I created this artwork after a long and grueling battle with stage 3 breast cancer as a reminder that we can get back up again. We are stronger than we think. This piece helped me work through my anger, my loneliness, and my fear that I may never feel good again. I had no energy and was so angry and so afraid that I’d never recover. I don’t think I’m alone in these feelings. I am so thankful for my family and friends that got me through it all, like a flock of starlings that gathered and lifted me up. They gave me hope and took care of me when I couldn’t get back up. I am forever grateful and love you all and I realize now that am stronger than I ever thought. You too are stronger than you think.
