Original watercolor study of a pair of cardinals. This summer I had a number of cardinals visit my garden daily. These birds always seem to be the first at the feeder in the morning and the last to leave in the evening. This painting represents a pair that I saw very often and he would feed her so lovingly. I just couldn't stop watching this gorgeous pair.
