RISE
Often times we get knocked down. My hope is that every time I get knocked down I get back up stronger than before. If we didn't get knocked down I'm not sure we would grow or become better people.
"A Beautiful Mess Collection"
This series is about change and healing. At the end of 2016 I was diagnosed with late stage breast cancer and went through a year of radical surgeries and treatment. It was absolutely brutal for myself and my family. It all sounds terrible but it has changed many parts of me for the better. Life is so fragile and this experience has taught me that. Things can happen in a flash. So, everyday I make a conscious effort to appreciate the precious moments like a funny giggle from my kids or a little bird that lands at my feeder. Life offers us lots of good moments, we just need to look for them sometimes.
