The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail is a magnificent butterfly! I've seen so many this year and some have been really beaten up. I've seen some missing almost a half a wing.They are so fragile yet so strong and my goal was to capture this by showing all the little scratches and scrapes on the wings. The go through so much in such a short lifetime. So beautiful.
A reproduction of my original artwork printed on heavy weight acid-free premium matte paper using archival inks.
